Honeywell to Divest Productivity Solutions Business to Brady Corp for $1.4B Amid Major Strategic Overhaul

Honeywell International Inc. has reached a definitive agreement to sell its Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) business to Brady Corporation in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.4 billion. This divestiture is a cornerstone of Honeywell’s strategy to simplify its portfolio and sharpen its focus on core megatrends. The move comes as the company prepares for the highly anticipated spin-off of its aerospace division, expected to be finalized in the third quarter of 2026.

The PSS unit, a leader in mobile computing, barcode scanning, and industrial printing, generated approximately $1.1 billion in revenue in 2025. Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell, stated that this sale represents a critical step in reshaping the company’s financial and operational profile. By shedding non-core assets, Honeywell aims to create two distinct, high-performing entities specialized in Aerospace and Industrial Automation, respectively, maximizing long-term shareholder value.
