“Make it in the Emirates 2026” Kicks Off in Abu Dhabi with Record Industrial Participation
The fifth edition of the “Make it in the Emirates” platform has officially opened today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), marking the largest industrial gathering in the UAE to date.
Held under the theme “Advanced Industry… Accelerating Our Strength,” the event runs from May 4 to 7, bringing together ministers, business leaders, investors, industrialists, innovators, youth, and media representatives from across the country and beyond.
This year’s edition has expanded significantly, with exhibition space reaching 88,000 square meters—up 30% compared to last year. The number of exhibitors has surged to 1,245, reflecting a 73% increase from 2025, representing all seven emirates.
The platform also features participation from more than 2,000 skilled artisans and showcases over 5,000 products, marking a 4% increase compared to the previous edition. In addition, the event includes more than 50 panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs account for 61% of total participants, underscoring the growing role of innovation-driven businesses in the UAE’s industrial landscape.
“Make it in the Emirates” serves as a practical demonstration of the UAE’s efforts to strengthen industrial resilience and reinforce its position as a regional and global hub for advanced manufacturing. The scale of this year’s edition reflects the country’s long-term industrial vision and its commitment to building a production- and innovation-driven economy.
The platform spans 12 priority industrial sectors, including advanced manufacturing, energy, aviation, defense, pharmaceuticals, mobility, and sustainable materials, highlighting key areas of strategic focus for future growth.
As a national mechanism, the initiative plays a critical role in translating industrial ambitions into tangible projects and investment opportunities by bringing together capabilities, priorities, and market opportunities under one umbrella.
The event also emphasizes the importance of reliable supply chains, scalable national companies, and local innovation in delivering measurable economic impact—supported by strong government demand and a continued focus on sustainable industrial growth.
