Neo Energy Solutions Becomes GoodWe’s First Official Distributor in Egypt

Neo Energy Solutions has signed a strategic partnership agreement with China-based GoodWe, a global provider of solar energy and energy storage solutions, becoming the company’s first officially authorized distributor in the Egyptian market.

The move comes amid rapid growth in Egypt’s renewable energy sector, supported by the government’s push to expand clean energy adoption and meet the targets of Egypt Vision 2030, particularly in reducing carbon emissions.

Under the agreement, Neo Energy Solutions will introduce a comprehensive portfolio of GoodWe products to the local market. These include hybrid inverters, high-voltage battery storage systems, and on-grid inverters, catering to residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

The solutions feature advanced technologies, including ultra-fast switching to backup power in less than 10 milliseconds during outages, as well as batteries with a lifespan of up to 8,000 charge cycles and warranties extending up to 10 years. The systems are also engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions and high temperatures.

Commenting on the partnership, Ali Abu Zeid, CEO of Neo Energy Solutions, described the agreement as a strategic step toward enhancing the availability of global solar technologies in Egypt. He noted that the collaboration goes beyond equipment supply to include technical support, after-sales services, and certified warranties, strengthening investor and customer confidence in solar projects.

Abu Zeid added that demand for alternative energy solutions is rising steadily in the local market, driven by increasing conventional energy costs and a growing shift among industrial and commercial players toward more sustainable and efficient solutions.

Founded in 2024, Neo Energy Solutions is an Egyptian startup providing integrated solar solutions, including component supply and project execution for on-grid and off-grid systems, as well as solar-powered water pumping. The company is also active regionally in countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Sudan, and was recognized as Best Distributor in Egypt and the Middle East 2025 by Felicity Solar.

For its part, GoodWe, established in 2010 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2020, operates in more than 100 countries and is considered one of the leading global manufacturers of solar inverters and smart energy solutions.
