Jumia Egypt Marks 14 Years with Nationwide Campaign Offering Up to 80% Discounts
Jumia Egypt has launched a major promotional campaign to celebrate its 14th anniversary in the Egyptian market, offering discounts of up to 80% across a wide range of categories, alongside enhanced digital shopping experiences and nationwide engagement.
Running from May 4 to May 24, the campaign spans 20 days of deals across six main categories, including fashion, beauty, electronics, mobile phones, and home appliances. Customers can benefit from savings ranging between EGP 140 and EGP 14,000, supported by daily promotions such as “Deal of the Day,” weekend offers, and limited-time Flash Sales.
The campaign also introduces “Door Crashers” on peak dates—May 4, 8, 15, and 22—featuring a selection of products at deeply discounted prices. Additional themed offers tied to the anniversary include products priced at EGP 140, EGP 1,400, and EGP 14,000, as well as extra discounts of up to 14% and interest-free installment plans of up to 14 months on selected items.
To further enhance affordability, Jumia is offering Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options with interest-free installments of up to 24 months in partnership with several financial institutions, including the National Bank of Egypt, valU, Aman, Souhoola, Halan, FAB, Contact Now, and Klivvr.
The campaign features more than 10,000 products eligible for free delivery through Jumia Express, the company’s logistics arm, ensuring fast and reliable nationwide shipping. Jumia is also strengthening its last-mile operations through its JForce network, deploying representatives across key locations, alongside on-ground activations such as branded vehicles, promotional catalogs, and interactive experiences including a physical “Wheel of Fortune” offering prizes and discount vouchers.
Digitally, customers can engage with online games such as the “Wheel of Fortune,” providing opportunities to win additional discounts, vouchers, and exclusive deals, as part of a broader effort to create a more interactive and engaging shopping journey.
The campaign is supported by a wide range of global and local brands, including Adidas, Xiaomi, LC Waikiki, GSK, Defacto, Activ, and Luna, in addition to a broad network of local sellers on the platform.

He also highlighted the importance of initiatives such as Flash Sales and daily deals in creating a more dynamic and engaging retail environment, noting that Jumia aims to go beyond pricing by integrating entertainment and interactivity into the shopping experience.
