Alshaya Group Marks 20 Years in Egypt with Landmark Opening of Global Talent Center in Cairo
Celebrating two decades of strategic presence in Egypt, Alshaya Group officially inaugurated its first Offshoring Global Talent Center in Cairo today. Under the auspices of Eng. Ahmed Elzaher, CEO of ITIDA, and attended by Alshaya CEO John Hadden, the center—located at City Stars—represents a significant leap in the Group’s commitment to Egypt’s digital economy. Following a 2025 Memorandum of Understanding signed in the presence of Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, this hub is designed to deliver comprehensive IT and business services to 16 global markets, including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Greece, and Cyprus.
John Hadden described Egypt as a "pivotal strategic partner," noting that the center leverages the energy of Egypt's young workforce to drive operational excellence across Alshaya’s portfolio of global brands like Starbucks, H&M, and Bath & Body Works. With plans to create 400 new job opportunities over the next two years, the center solidifies Egypt’s role not just as a retail market, but as a central base for high-value offshoring services ranging from project management to advanced tech support.
