Telecom Retailers Shift to Winter Schedule

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has set the winter operating schedule for retail outlets run by telecommunications service providers across Egypt.

The regulator’s instructions establish customer-facing hours for regular weekdays as well as separate schedules for Thursdays and Fridays.

9 AM Start Across Most of the Week

Telecom outlets will open at 9:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM on all days of the week except Thursday and Friday.

Thursday will have extended operating hours, with branches serving customers from 9:00 AM until 11:00 PM.

Friday Schedule Runs From 2 PM to 11 PM

Friday opening hours will begin later, with telecom outlets operating from 2:00 PM until 11:00 PM.

The schedule applies as telecom service providers begin implementing their winter operating hours.

Mall and University Outlets Follow Host Schedules

The regulator noted that branches located inside shopping malls, clubs and universities will continue to follow the operating schedules set by their respective host facilities.

The instructions establish the customer service timetable for telecom retail outlets during the winter working period.
