In line with reinforcing the presence of European automobiles in the Egyptian market and expanding its model lineup, Egyptian International Motors (EIM), the exclusive distributor for French brand Renault, announced the official launch of the all-new 2027 Renault Boreal across three distinct trim levels.

Advanced Technologies and Future Expansion for Renault

Taher Shaheen, CEO and Managing Director of EIM, stated that the Renault Boreal features cutting-edge technology presented for the first time in Egypt. He highlighted that this launch comes as part of the company's strategy to meet consumer expectations and keep pace with developments in the automotive market. Shaheen added that EIM plans to introduce additional new Renault models throughout 2027 to diversify its vehicle offerings and cater to various market segments.

For his part, Abdelrahman Sultan, General Manager of Renault Egypt, reaffirmed the continuation of their expansion plans by enhancing sales and service networks, pointing out the opening of a new showroom to broaden their customer base and deliver top-tier sales and after-sales services across Egyptian governorates.

2027 Renault Boreal Pricing Across Trim Levels

Doaa Yousry, Marketing Director at Renault Egypt, detailed the pricing for the three available trims as follows:

First Category (Evolution): Priced at EGP 1.47 million.

Second Category (Techno): Priced at EGP 1.57 million.

Third Category (Iconic): Priced at EGP 1.69 million.

Technical Specifications and Performance Metrics

The Renault Boreal falls into the Compact SUV category and relies on the following powertrain:

Engine: 1.3-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.

Power and Torque: Delivers 150 hp with a maximum torque of 250 Nm.

Transmission: 6-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission with front-wheel drive.

Performance: Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 180 km/h.

Fuel Consumption: Averages between 5.7 and 8.2 liters per 100 km, supported by a 50-liter fuel tank capacity.
