valU and Zbooni Forge Strategic Partnership to Roll Out BNPL Solutions for SMEs in Jordan
Leading MENA financial technology platform valU Jordan has entered into a strategic partnership with Zbooni, a digital platform specializing in conversational commerce, to integrate "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) financing solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the Kingdom. The alliance aims to accelerate digital commerce adoption by providing flexible, turnkey payment infrastructure to over 1,000 local merchants.
Seamless Integration for Conversational Commerce
The collaboration targets the growing trend of conversational commerce (c-commerce) by bridging the gap between digital customer interactions and flexible checkout options:
Turnkey Financing: The technical integration allows merchants utilizing Zbooni’s order management and payment ecosystem to offer valU’s BNPL facilities directly to their customers, eliminating the need for SMEs to develop independent credit infrastructures.
Consumer Flexibility: Shoppers can seamlessly utilize their approved valU credit limits to finance purchases made through chat and social channels, driving higher conversion rates and larger average ticket sizes for local retailers.
Strategic Milestones and Market Expansion
Leadership from both companies emphasized that the partnership is designed to remove payment complexities for SMEs and convert digital interactions into actionable sales growth.
A Market First for Jordan: Zbooni officially becomes the first digital commerce platform in the Jordanian market to integrate valU as a direct payment option. The move builds upon a previously successful collaborative model established between the two tech firms in Egypt.
valU's Operational Footprint: The alliance aligns with valU Jordan's aggressive network expansion strategy following its official market launch in May 2026, which was greenlit by final regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Jordan.
