SolvFast Takes Strategic Stake in HotelsWave to Bring AI Agents Into Hotel Operations
The AI-powered digital transformation platform has acquired a strategic stake in HotelsWave, alongside a majority interest in its core hotel reservation management product. The companies have already begun integrating HotelsWave’s products into SolvFast’s platform, with operations to be managed from Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The transaction goes beyond adding another company to SolvFast’s portfolio. It is designed to change how HotelsWave delivers its services by moving hotel workflows onto a unified digital platform where AI agents execute repetitive operational tasks while human teams retain control over decisions and more complex cases.
From Hotel Services Business to AI-Enabled Platform
HotelsWave was built on more than 12 years of experience in hotel management and operations, giving SolvFast an established business rather than requiring it to develop a hospitality product from scratch.
The company currently manages hotel accounts across global booking platforms such as Booking.com, covering content optimization, pricing, reservations, cancellations, no-shows, guest messages and reviews.
It also operates an AI-powered guest service, a broader hotel management system and a commission-based booking platform targeting hotels across the Arab world.
Under the deal, these capabilities are being moved into SolvFast’s technology environment in stages.
The goal is to bring reservations, room rates, guest conversations and performance data together rather than requiring hotel teams to move between disconnected systems.
AI Agents Take Over Repetitive Hotel Tasks
The technology layer behind the integration will come from Senaiy, SolvFast’s AI agent ecosystem.
Instead of using AI solely as a chatbot or analytics tool, SolvFast plans to assign individual agents to specific operational workflows.
In a hotel environment, an agent could respond to a guest inquiry, access information about rates and availability, and help convert the conversation into a reservation. Other agents could recommend room prices based on demand and seasonality or monitor bookings, cancellations and no-shows.
Each agent operates within defined responsibilities, while cases requiring judgment or approval are escalated to human teams.
That human-in-the-loop structure is central to the model: automation handles repeatable work, while employees remain responsible for exceptions and decisions.
One Data Layer for Reservations, Pricing and Guest Communication
SolvFast Co-Founder and CTO Abdelrahman Talaat said HotelsWave’s products are being migrated to the platform progressively so that reservations, prices and guest communications can operate from a common data source.
AI agents can then work on top of the same information instead of relying on fragmented data across different tools.
The platform will also continue integrating with the global booking channels hotels already use.
For hotels, this could reduce the operational friction created by managing multiple channels and systems separately. For HotelsWave, automation could make it possible to serve a larger number of properties without expanding manual workloads at the same rate.
SolvFast Enters Hospitality With an Existing Customer Base
The acquisition also gives SolvFast a faster route into a specialized vertical.
“Hospitality is one of the sectors where digital transformation makes an immediate difference,” said SolvFast Co-Founder and CEO Abdelmalek El-Barawy.
“Hotels deal every day with multiple booking platforms, while guests expect fast responses. We chose HotelsWave because it was built from inside hotel operations and understands what hotels actually need.”
El-Barawy said the company is not simply investing in HotelsWave but transforming its operating model into digital products running through SolvFast.
Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Mazen Al-Aridi said the transaction allows SolvFast to enter hospitality with an operating business from day one, rather than starting with an untested technology product.
A Commission Model Adds Another Route to Hotel Revenue
HotelsWave’s commission-based booking platform provides another component of the deal.
Instead of charging hotels simply for being listed, the model charges a commission on completed bookings. HotelsWave combines this with social media campaigns and guest data designed to help hotels generate repeat business.
Founder Ibrahim El-Desouky said HotelsWave was originally created from direct experience inside hotel operations, with the objective of turning a property’s presence on booking platforms into a sustainable source of reservations and revenue.
Joining SolvFast, he said, gives the company access to a larger technology platform, specialized teams and AI agents that could help it serve more hotels across a wider range of markets.
Egypt and Saudi Arabia Become the Base for Regional Expansion
The combined operation will be managed from Egypt and Saudi Arabia as the companies target hotels across the Arab world.
SolvFast already operates across Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United States and says it has worked with government entities as well as more than 20 startup and SME clients, primarily in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.
For SolvFast, HotelsWave provides something particularly valuable as it expands: industry-specific workflows and operational experience that can be automated rather than a generic AI product looking for a use case.
That makes the transaction a test of a broader AI-agent model. Instead of selling hotels another standalone AI tool, SolvFast is embedding agents directly into the workflows where reservations are handled, prices change and guests expect answers.
