Food Export Council Targets Full Digitalization of its Services in 2026
May Khairy, Executive Director of the Food Export Council (FEC), affirmed that the digitalization of services represents a primary pillar of the Council's action plan for 2026. This strategic move aims to accelerate companies' access to export opportunities, as well as the essential services and information needed to expand into foreign markets.
Khairy explained that the Council is actively working on upgrading its website to provide services, research studies, training programs, and events in a highly efficient digital format, thereby significantly enhancing the user experience for member companies.
She further added that the FEC places great emphasis on corporate capacity building through specialized training programs encompassing export strategies, food safety, marketing, and financial management. In addition to these efforts, the Council has established a comprehensive knowledge library featuring over 200 webinars. These virtual sessions cover a wide array of topics, including export procedures, market research, and logistics, ultimately bolstering the readiness of Egyptian companies to compete in global markets.
