 TikTok has reaffirmed its long-term corporate commitment to cultivating a safe, positive, and authentic digital ecosystem for its global community. According to its newly released Q4 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, the short-form video platform purged 11,772,196 videos across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for violating platform policies between October and December 2025.

The platform’s data-driven safety infrastructure directed automated and manual moderation tools across key regional markets, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, and Lebanon. In parallel with algorithmic content filtration, TikTok scaled its minors-protection protocols, terminating 23,875,879 accounts globally suspected of belonging to users under the age of 13. Furthermore, the platform dismantled 147,716,518 fake accounts worldwide during the same quarter to maintain platform integrity.

Global and Regional LIVE Stream Enforcement TikTok expanded its policy enforcement parameters for TikTok LIVE operations. Globally, the platform suspended 42,822,827 live broadcasts in Q4 2025—marking a substantial 32.9% vertical increase compared to the 32,242,750 stream suspensions recorded in Q3 2025. Concurrently, 358,160 LIVE hosts were banned worldwide. Within the regional sandbox, TikTok preemptively terminated 974,661 live streams across Egypt, the UAE, Iraq, and Lebanon, balancing precise automated decision-making with human moderation.

Granular Country-by-Country Breakdown (Q4 2025):

Egypt: Purged 2,380,226 videos, maintaining an elite 99.9% proactive removal rate, ensuring violating content was neutralized before user flagging. Additionally, 98.4% of infringing videos were removed within 24 hours of posting. Following successful appeals, 109,881 videos were reinstated. On the broadcasting front, TikTok banned 126,095 LIVE hosts and terminated 357,652 live streams.

Saudi Arabia: Removed 2,903,914 videos with a 99.9% proactive detection rate and a 98.4% 24-hour removal speed. Conversely, 146,314 videos were restored post-appeal.

United Arab Emirates: Deleted 787,133 videos (99.9% proactive rate | 98.4% 24-hour removal speed), while restoring 41,506 videos after review. The platform also banned 38,343 LIVE hosts and terminated 100,899 streams.

Iraq: Erased 4,691,021 videos (99.9% proactive rate | 98.4% 24-hour turnaround time), while reinstating 148,663 clips. In terms of broadcasts, 181,918 hosts were banned and 472,669 live streams were shut down.

Lebanon: Removed 1,009,902 videos (99.9% proactive detection | 98.4% removal within 24 hours), with 23,953 videos reinstated. Live stream moderation accounted for 11,804 banned hosts and 44,241 terminated broadcasts.

Monetization Policy Enforcement To safeguard its ecosystem and incentivize creators delivering high-quality, authentic content, TikTok disclosed key data points regarding its LIVE monetization parameters. Globally, the platform issued regulatory warnings and suspended monetization rights for 17,714,756 live broadcasts and 9,277,720 individual LIVE creators for violating monetization guidelines. During the same period, 3,753,339 live streams successfully recovered monetization status following verification.
