ITIDA Launches Revamped “Egypt Innovate” Platform to Empower National Startup Ecosystem

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) officially launched the revamped version of the “Egypt Innovate” platform, the country’s first fully integrated national platform for innovation and entrepreneurship. Developed and operated by a consortium led by Entlaq in partnership with Robusta and Kamelizer, the launch took place during the AI Everything Middle East & Africa Summit and Exhibition at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, with participation from representatives of more than 30 countries, global corporations, startups, investors, and policymakers.

The platform represents a strategic milestone in Egypt’s drive toward a knowledge- and innovation-based economy, serving as a unified digital hub that connects startups, investors, universities, research centers, and government policies. It aims to strengthen the country’s innovation ecosystem, enhance access to funding, and accelerate the transformation of innovative ideas into scalable ventures, reinforcing Egypt’s position as a leading regional hub for entrepreneurship and technology.

Eng. Ahmed ElZaher, CEO of ITIDA, emphasized that the platform leverages data and advanced technologies to provide actionable insights for entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders. He highlighted that the inclusion of specialized Arabic-language content supports digital inclusion, nurtures local talent, and strengthens Egypt’s role in the Arab knowledge economy.

The consortium developing the platform is led by Entlaq, with Robusta delivering advanced technical infrastructure and Kamelizer providing digital marketing and corporate identity expertise. Mohamed Ehab, CEO of Entlaq, noted that the platform acts as a comprehensive national digital infrastructure, connecting entrepreneurs with knowledge, funding opportunities, mentorship, and strategic networks.

During its pilot phase, Egypt Innovate onboarded 780 ecosystem entities, including startups, investors, incubators, and research centers, alongside 3,731 content pieces covering sector news, opportunities, and specialized insights. The platform currently serves over 81,536 registered users and hosts a network of more than 20 expert advisors supporting entrepreneurs.

Key features include:

AI-powered smart assistant guiding users through the ecosystem.

Interactive data map for exploring startups, investors, incubators, and research centers.

Intelligent matching tools connecting startups with investors.

Integrated learning hub with training, mentorship programs, and venture simulations.
