Mastercard has opened the new edition of its Mastercard Experience Center in Dubai, reinforcing its continued investment in the UAE as the company marks 40 years of operations in the country.

Located within Mastercard’s regional headquarters at Dubai Internet City, the center serves as a key engagement hub for customers and stakeholders while supporting 81 markets across Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

A New Hub for Digital Payments Innovation

The center offers customers, regulators, ecosystem partners and student delegations an interactive environment to explore Mastercard’s technologies and solutions.

Its facilities combine digital demonstrations with modern collaboration spaces designed to help organizations understand how Mastercard’s capabilities can support growth and facilitate the exchange of value across the digital economy.

Three Connected Zones

The Mastercard Experience Center is organized into three interconnected areas: Discovery, Experience and Engagement.

The Discovery zone provides a flexible setting for customer interaction, ranging from introductory sessions to full-day workshops.

The Experience zone features immersive demonstrations of Mastercard technologies, allowing customers to assess potential applications and make informed decisions based on their business requirements.

The Engagement zone includes dedicated collaboration rooms where ideas can be transformed into structured workshops and joint solutions developed with Mastercard’s product teams.

Bringing the Payments Ecosystem Together

The center serves card-issuing banks, merchants, fintech companies, entrepreneurs and government entities, bringing different parts of the payments ecosystem together in one location.

It will also host customer education programs, media sessions, regional events and Mastercard academic initiatives, while providing an environment for business discussions and the development of innovative payment solutions.

AI and Academic Programs

Visitors can explore applications of artificial intelligence and engage with insights and initiatives from Mastercard’s Center for Advanced AI and Technology in Dubai.

The center also extends its role to universities and students by serving as a platform for knowledge exchange and selected educational programs involving applied research projects.

Mastercard plans to introduce practical training programs for students starting in 2027.

Mastercard’s Four Decades in the UAE

Mark Elliott, Mastercard’s Regional President for East Arabia, said the company’s four decades of growth have developed alongside the UAE’s ambitions and progress.

He said the new Experience Center reflects Mastercard’s focus on bringing its technologies and solutions closer to organizations shaping the future of commerce, while creating opportunities to turn ideas into practical applications supporting the UAE’s digital economy and the wider region.

Since its original opening in 2018, the center has hosted major milestones in Mastercard’s development, including strategic cooperation agreements and various innovation and development initiatives.
