Suez Canal Bank Launches Fee-Free Financial Inclusion Campaign for Youth Until August 15
Suez Canal Bank has launched a financial inclusion campaign offering young customers a range of free banking services between August 1 and 15, as part of its activities marking International Youth Day under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt.
The initiative aims to encourage more young people to join the formal banking system by simplifying access to accounts, payment cards and digital financial services.
Under the campaign, customers can open the bank’s Bedaya financial inclusion account without account-opening fees or a minimum balance requirement. They can also obtain a Meeza debit card without issuance charges.
The offer includes free registration for internet and mobile banking services, as well as access to the bank’s electronic wallet, allowing customers to manage accounts and complete everyday transactions through digital channels.
Suez Canal Bank is also promoting the programme among customers aged 15 and above, who can open a Bedaya account using a valid national identification card. The account provides access to savings returns and other banking benefits under simplified eligibility requirements.
The campaign forms part of the bank’s broader efforts to support financial literacy, youth empowerment and digital transformation, while expanding access to secure and affordable banking services across different segments of society
