PepsiCo Egypt Launches “30 Days of Goodness and Still Going” Ramadan Campaign to Support Vulnerable Families
PepsiCo Egypt, through its subsidiaries Pepsi-Cola Egypt and Chipsy Food Industries, has launched the “30 Days of Goodness and Still Going” campaign to support vulnerable families and improve their quality of life during Ramadan. The initiative is carried out in partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank and Ra’ee Misr Foundation, with backing from the PepsiCo Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm, reflecting PepsiCo’s commitment to food and shelter as fundamental human rights.
The campaign is part of PepsiCo Egypt’s ongoing “Filling Hearts with Happiness” initiative, which aims to enhance community development where the company operates. Through collaboration with the Egyptian Food Bank, six Ramadan “Mawa’id Rahman” food distribution sites have been set up across Egypt, including Giza, Tanta, Beni Suef, Minya, Sohag, and Asyut, providing daily Iftar and Suhoor meals. Thousands of food boxes will also be distributed, targeting over one million meals during Ramadan.
In parallel, collaboration with the Ra’ee Misr Foundation focuses on housing and community development, with plans to renovate and rebuild 40 homes in Giza, Minya, and Asyut, alongside providing essential infrastructure such as clean water, sanitation, electricity, and household supplies. This approach ensures safe and sustainable living conditions, creating a lasting impact beyond Ramadan.
PepsiCo employees actively participate in campaign activities, from meal preparation to community development work, reinforcing the culture of volunteering and corporate social responsibility.
Kareem Khodr, Chairman and Managing Director of PepsiCo Egypt, said: “We believe our true responsibility emerges when communities need genuine support. Through this campaign, we aim to leave a tangible impact on families’ lives that extends beyond Ramadan, enhancing their sense of security and stability.”
