National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has announced the launch of its annual Ramadan campaign, “Do Good in the Month of Goodness” for 2026, unveiling a comprehensive program of community, health, humanitarian, and recreational initiatives designed to strengthen solidarity and celebrate the noble values of the holy month.

The campaign will officially commence on 15 February 2026, featuring a diverse lineup of activities that underscore NBK’s longstanding commitment to social responsibility and sustainable community impact.

On this occasion, Talal Al Turki, Deputy CEO – Head of Public Relations and Events at NBK, stated: “At NBK, we ensure that our Ramadan initiatives reflect the humanitarian and social message we believe in. This campaign is an extension of our commitment to the community. Through it, we aim to reinforce positive values, support those most in need, encourage healthy lifestyles, and foster a spirit of participation and compassion.”

He added: “These activities have become an integral part of NBK’s identity during Ramadan. We continuously strive to enhance and expand them year after year to deliver more engaging initiatives that better serve our community.”

Al Turki emphasized that community engagement represents a genuine investment in the nation’s future, reaffirming NBK’s dedication to launching sustainable initiatives that create long-term social impact and solidify the bank’s role as a cornerstone of Kuwait’s social fabric.

Key Initiatives

NBK Ramadan Challenge
A 10-day fitness initiative hosted at Al Shaheed Park, encouraging participants of all ages to adopt an active lifestyle. The first phase features solar-powered arches that track participants’ movements while walking or running. The challenge aims to attract 2,000 participants in a vibrant Ramadan atmosphere.

“Kesrat Siyam” Initiative
NBK teams will distribute iftar snacks once a week across various locations in Kuwait before sunset at traffic intersections. The initiative seeks to reduce accidents caused by speeding before iftar while promoting road safety awareness.

Iftar Saem
As part of its humanitarian outreach, NBK will distribute 1,800 iftar meals across six different locations to reach the largest possible number of underprivileged individuals and workers throughout Kuwait.

“Shot Shot” Championship
A knowledge-based competition inspired by a traditional Kuwaiti game, hosted over two days at Al Hamra Tower (55th floor). Sixty-four teams, each consisting of three players, will compete in an engaging atmosphere blending education and entertainment. Cash prizes of KD 250 per player for the first-place team and KD 150 per player for the second-place team will be awarded.

Penalty Shootout Tournament
A two-day knockout-style competition featuring teams of two (player and goalkeeper). The first-place winners will receive KD 500, while second place will be awarded KD 250.

“Kout Bo 6” Championship
A heritage-inspired competition reviving traditional Kuwaiti games, requiring skill, speed, and quick thinking. The two-day tournament will also take place at Al Hamra Tower with 64 participating teams.

NBK Eidiya
Concluding the month’s festivities, NBK will distribute gifts and Ramadan bags to families and passersby in high-traffic areas across Kuwait, sharing the joy of Eid with the community.

Through these initiatives, NBK reaffirms its position as a leading financial institution committed to humanitarian, health, educational, and recreational initiatives that reflect its deep-rooted values and enduring service to Kuwaiti society.
