RiseUp Summit 2026 Concludes with Groundbreaking National Startup Charter Launch
RiseUp Summit 2026 concluded its 13th edition, solidifying Egypt’s role as a regional hub for startups and innovation. The event, held at the Grand Egyptian Museum, hosted over 400 speakers from more than 80 countries, covering topics from digital transformation to AI and scalable business models.
A key highlight was the launch of Egypt’s National Startup Charter, attended by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Planning Dr. Rania Al-Mashat. Developed over a year of consultations with 15 national entities and 250 ecosystem representatives, the Charter aims to empower 5,000 startups, create 500,000 jobs, and stimulate venture capital investment.
The summit showcased competitions like the A Ventures x RiseUp Pitch, securing significant funding for startups including Remi, Shadoo, and AI Scada, alongside events like the Red Bull Basement National Qualifier and multiple corporate partnerships, fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and employment opportunities across Egypt.
