Launch of Third Edition of Logivators to Drive Innovation in Egypt’s Logistics Sector
Startup ecosystem builder Startup Factory, in partnership with Egytrans NOSCO and with strategic sponsorship from Alexandria Container & Cargo Handling Company, announced the launch of the third edition of the Logivators program (Logivators 3.0), aimed at accelerating innovation in logistics and transportation services across Egypt.

The new edition is being launched alongside the Egyptian Entrepreneurship Charter under the patronage of the Prime Minister, underscoring national efforts to position Egypt as a leading regional hub for logistics and port services. Logivators 3.0 focuses on applied innovation by connecting startups with real operational challenges across the logistics value chain.
Logivators operates as an industry-integrated platform that transforms operational challenges in logistics and transportation into scalable, investment-ready business opportunities. Across its first two editions, the program supported and incubated 15 startups specialized in logistics solutions. More than 20 percent of these startups signed MoUs with Egytrans NOSCO to deploy their technologies in live operational environments. Around 30 percent expanded into regional markets and secured pre-seed funding exceeding USD 1 million, while 30 percent of alumni startups gained national exposure through Shark Tank.
The third edition introduces a more comprehensive and integrated design to deepen collaboration between industry players and technology innovators. The updated model combines industry roundtables to define real operational needs, applied hackathons to develop and test technical solutions, and focused acceleration tracks to prepare startups for growth and integration into national and regional supply chains. The program aims to accelerate technology adoption, enhance operational performance, strengthen industry-startup collaboration, and expand access to funding and market opportunities.
Eng. Abir Leheta, Co-CEO of Egytrans NOSCO, said the company’s continued partnership in the third edition reflects its belief in innovation as a core pillar of its growth strategy. She noted that participation since the first edition has been driven by a commitment to continuous learning and meaningful collaboration with startups. Through Logivators, the company has piloted emerging technologies in real operating environments and integrated high-impact solutions into its workflows, improving efficiency and service quality. Previous editions included more than 20 specialized sessions, workshops, and seminars, with over 20 percent of participating startups signing MoUs to deploy their solutions, highlighting the program’s tangible sector impact.
Dr. Nadine Abou Khadra, Executive Partner at Startup Factory (pmaestro), said the third edition builds on a strategic framework designed to embed startups within the logistics innovation ecosystem and support commercially viable solutions. She added that the program enables startups to play an active role in Egypt’s logistics sector, either through direct deployment with major operators such as Egytrans NOSCO or through access to local and international commercial opportunities. She pointed to the regional expansion achieved by about 30 percent of participating startups and pre-seed investments exceeding USD 1 million, alongside strong national visibility for several alumni through Shark Tank.
Mr. Hazem Abou El Nil, General Manager of Marketing and Strategic Planning at Alexandria Container & Cargo Handling Company, said the company’s sponsorship reflects its strong conviction that technology and innovation are essential drivers of operational and strategic advancement. He noted that Logivators provides early access to commercially viable solutions and creates opportunities to collaborate with startups on new business models, helping deliver more efficient and flexible services to customers. He added that the regional growth achieved by participating startups demonstrates the program’s effectiveness in generating measurable value for both ACCHCO and the broader maritime transport and logistics sector.
Since its inception, Logivators has strengthened its role as a strategic platform for advancing logistics innovation in Egypt by supporting sector-focused startups, linking them with real operating environments, and expanding opportunities for commercialization and regional market access.
