NTT DATA Acquires AWS Premier Partner Zero&One to Strengthen Cloud Capabilities in the Middle East
NTT DATA, a global leader in artificial intelligence, digital business, and technology services, has announced the acquisition of Zero&One, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The acquisition significantly enhances NTT DATA’s cloud computing capabilities and strengthens its position to capitalize on the rapidly growing cloud services market across the Middle East. The deal aligns with the company’s broader strategy to expand its regional footprint and deliver advanced, cloud-first solutions to enterprises.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Dubai, Zero&One is one of the region’s leading cloud consulting firms. The company holds nine AWS Competency certifications and was among the first organizations in the Middle East to achieve AWS certification in Generative AI.
In 2025, Zero&One was named AWS Consulting Partner of the Year for the Middle East and North Africa, in addition to receiving the Rising Star Partner of the Year (Consulting) and Design Partner of the Year awards across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
The acquisition comes at a time of strong growth for the Middle East cloud market. Saudi Arabia’s cloud services market alone reached $4.77 billion last year and is expected to more than double by the early 2030s. This momentum is further supported by Amazon Web Services’ plans to launch a new AWS region in Saudi Arabia in 2026.
Commenting on the acquisition, Burcak Soydan, General Manager for the Middle East at NTT DATA, said:
“This acquisition enables us to deliver high-impact solutions and enhance the value we provide to enterprises across the Middle East. Zero&One’s expertise strengthens our ability to offer the speed, scale, and technical depth customers need in a cloud-first environment.”
