Al Baraka Bank Egypt Launches First Fully Digital Branch in the Egyptian Market
Al Baraka Bank Egypt has announced the opening of its first digital branch in the Egyptian market, becoming the first Islamic bank in Egypt to introduce a fully integrated digital branch, as part of its strategy to expand digital banking services and deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experience.
Abdel Aziz Samir, Deputy CEO for Retail Banking at Al Baraka Bank Egypt, said the launch marks a key milestone in the bank’s long-term digital transformation strategy, which aims to broaden the scope of digital banking services and introduce market-driven solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
He added that the digital branch enables customers to enjoy a faster, more flexible, and seamless banking experience through advanced digital channels, aligned with the bank’s vision for innovation and service excellence.
Samir also revealed plans to open a second digital branch in Alexandria in the coming period, as part of the bank’s geographic expansion of digital services. The move is expected to widen access to modern banking solutions, support financial inclusion, and reinforce the bank’s commitment to digital transformation across Egypt.
