Cairo ICT Celebrates 30th Anniversary with AI-Focused Edition Opening November 7
Cairo ICT is preparing to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a new edition beginning on November 7, 2026, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.
Organised by Trade Fairs International and held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the four-day exhibition and conference will conclude on November 10. This year's theme, “AI in Action,” places practical artificial intelligence applications at the centre of discussions and activities.
A Major Platform for the Regional ICT Industry
Over three decades, Cairo ICT has developed into an important meeting point for decision-makers, technology executives, local and international businesses, and investors from across the region.
The event provides a platform for industry dialogue, business partnerships and discussions on the transformations influencing the digital economy.
The 2026 edition will receive the participation and sponsorship of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in addition to the patronage of the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health and Population, Civil Aviation, and Education.
Organisers Highlight the Significance of the Anniversary
Osama Kamal, Chairman of Trade Fairs International, thanked Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly for his patronage and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for its participation and continued support.
Kamal said the government's backing underscores the importance of the ICT sector in developing a competitive economy driven by knowledge and innovation.
He also highlighted the exhibition's contribution over the past 30 years in bringing together government representatives, industry stakeholders and investors. The anniversary edition, he added, seeks to expand investment and partnership opportunities while turning AI capabilities into solutions that deliver measurable economic and social benefits.
From AI Innovation to Market Applications
The programme will focus on how artificial intelligence can be applied to improve services, enhance organisational performance and increase productivity.
Alongside AI, the exhibition will cover several areas shaping the technology market, including digital infrastructure, data centres, electronic payment systems, entrepreneurship, gaming and creative industries.
The launch of the Middle East and Africa AI Awards will also form part of the programme, highlighting the exhibition's commitment to encouraging innovation and connecting emerging technologies with real market requirements and investment prospects.
