Capital.com Enters Global Banking Partnership with Standard Chartered to Drive Virtual Asset Expansion

Capital.com Group, a high-growth fintech group and trading platform provider, has announced a global strategic banking partnership with Standard Chartered to bolster its banking infrastructure and support its expanding virtual asset operations worldwide.

In a press statement issued from Abu Dhabi, the Group confirmed that the partnership has gone live across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. Capital.com’s virtual asset services are delivered under the Capital.com brand through its regulated subsidiaries:

Capital Vault Virtual Services L.L.C. - S.P.C in the United Arab Emirates.

Capital Vault Ltd in Cyprus.

Institutional Integration to Enhance Settlement and Custody Services

Under the agreement, Capital.com will leverage Standard Chartered’s global network and corporate banking solutions. This includes fiat currency settlement services, client money account management, and an expanded suite of virtual asset-related banking services.

The partnership reflects the growing integration between regulated virtual asset businesses and established financial institutions, driven by the global expansion of digital financial services.

Standard Chartered: Cross-Border Infrastructure Ensuring Transparency and Liquidity

Ying Ying Tan, Global Head of Securities Services and Digital Assets at Standard Chartered, emphasized that as virtual assets become increasingly integrated into the mainstream financial ecosystem, robust, transparent, and globally connected banking infrastructure is essential.

"Standard Chartered combines its global network and strong governance and risk management capabilities to support fiat liquidity flows and management across jurisdictions. We are delighted to support Capital.com in growing its regulated virtual asset business across markets," Tan stated.

Capital.com: Prioritizing Client Fund Protection and Asset Transparency

Rahul Kumar, Head of Digital Assets at Capital.com, highlighted the importance of clarity regarding how funds and assets are held and safeguarded.

"Partnering with Standard Chartered provides us with a single, regulated banking relationship to deliver fiat transaction settlement, client money accounts, and related services through our Capital Vault entities—all operating under strict regulatory governance in the UAE and Cyprus," Kumar noted.

"This infrastructure forms the bedrock of every decision our clients make on the platform. Standard Chartered was chosen because its regulatory controls and established presence fully align with Capital.com's standards."
