National Bank of Egypt Owns 6.69% Stake in eFinance, Company Says

eFinance for Financial and Digital Investments announced that the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) holds a 6.69% stake in the company’s share capital, according to the latest ownership data registered with the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

In a disclosure submitted to the EGX, eFinance stated that NBE owns a total of 231,817,948 shares, representing 6.69% of the company’s issued and listed capital.

The company added that, with regard to related parties and affiliated entities, the National Bank of Egypt Portfolio (2) — managed through Al Ahly Financial Investments Management (AFIM) — holds 4,930,000 shares. In addition, the Private Insurance Fund for Employees of the National Bank of Egypt owns 1,340,623 shares, as part of the bank’s direct and indirect ownership structure.

eFinance confirmed that the disclosure was made in compliance with listing and disclosure regulations governing the Egyptian capital market, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and investor information disclosure.
