National Bank of Egypt Holds 6.05% Stake in Fawry, Company Discloses
Fawry for Banking Technology and Electronic Payments announced that the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) holds a 6.05% stake in the company’s share capital, according to the ownership structure data as of December 31, 2025.
In a disclosure submitted to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), Fawry stated that NBE owns a total of 206,225,843 shares, representing 6.05% of the company’s issued and listed capital.
The company clarified that this ownership includes related parties and affiliated entities. The National Bank of Egypt’s investment portfolio holds 2.5 million shares through NBE DIFC, in addition to 7.38 million shares held via Al Ahly Financial Investments Management (AFIM), as part of the bank’s direct and indirect ownership structure.
