QNET Highlights HomePure Water Purification Solutions at Cairo Water Week 2026

QNET Joins Cairo Water Week 2026

QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle-focused direct-selling company, took part in the ninth edition of Cairo Water Week 2026, held from October 25 to 29 under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Held under the theme “Water as a Catalyst for: Peace, Shared Prosperity, and a Sustainable Planet,” the event highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing water-related challenges.

Water, Health and Sustainability in Focus

As part of its participation, QNET hosted a media roundtable examining the relationship between water quality, health and sustainability.

The session featured Dr. Mohamed Ali, Professor of Water Desalination and Treatment at the Desert Research Center, who discussed water quality, purification technologies and the importance of selecting suitable treatment solutions for household use.

The discussion also examined the technology behind QNET’s HomePure Nova Pi Plus household water purification system.

Multi-Stage Filtration Technology

HomePure Nova Pi Plus uses multiple filtration stages designed to address different types of impurities in household water.

The system includes sediment filtration for larger particles, activated carbon filtration to reduce chlorine, odours and certain organic substances, and the UltraTech 35+ Ultra-Filtration Membrane, which is designed to reduce bacteria and viruses while retaining beneficial minerals.

The system operates without electricity, providing a household water purification option that does not require an electrical power supply.

QNET Reaffirms Sustainability Commitment

Hussam Kamel, Regional General Manager at QNET, said the company believes sustainability should be reflected in everyday solutions and that technology and innovation can support more informed choices and responsible consumption.

He added that QNET’s participation in Cairo Water Week reflects its continued engagement with discussions around water challenges and practical solutions, as well as its support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 on clean water and sanitation.

Expert View on Household Water Treatment

Dr. Mohamed Ali stressed that water quality is closely connected to health and quality of life, noting the importance of understanding water quality at the point of use and the role appropriate household treatment technologies can play.

He explained that multi-stage systems such as HomePure Nova Pi Plus combine different filtration technologies, with each stage serving a specific function. He also emphasized the importance of understanding water quality, contaminants and the capabilities of available treatment technologies when selecting a household solution.
