Industry and Exports Remain Key Investment Priorities
The Egyptian government is seeking to increase investment in productive sectors while expanding the country’s industrial base and export capacity.
Farid pointed to measures aimed at improving the business environment, including streamlined licensing, digital investor services and continued investment in industrial and logistics infrastructure.
He also highlighted Egypt’s trade agreements, which can provide investors with access to Arab, African and European markets.
Aamal Holding Considers Multiple Egyptian Sectors
Talks with Aamal Holding CEO Rashid Al Mansouri focused on possible investments in sectors including industry, energy and healthcare.
The meeting examined opportunities that could strengthen cooperation between the company and Egypt across areas relevant to its existing activities.
Mining Investment Focuses on Value Addition
Discussions with Qatar Mining CEO Hamad Rashid Al Athba centred on Egypt’s mining and metals potential.

Chemicals and Petrochemicals on the Agenda
Farid’s meeting with Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company CEO Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Ansari focused on investment opportunities in manufacturing.
Fertiliser, chemical and petrochemical industries were among the areas discussed, alongside potential projects aimed at strengthening domestic production.

The government is also seeking closer direct engagement with investors to help companies evaluate opportunities and determine their expansion plans in the Egyptian market.
