While the majority of the affected employees received formal offers to relocate to the new Texas facility, others who were unable to move—or whose roles became redundant under the revised organizational structure—were laid off. Furthermore, the restructuring extended to the Plano office itself, where approximately 100 employees, including staff within the mobile division, were let go as part of a wider review of the US workforce.

Over the past two weeks, dozens of employees—including senior officials in sales and marketing—announced their departures, indicating the broad scope of the restructuring.
