Orange Egypt CEO Hesham Mahran Inspires Youth at ”Start 2026” Summit: ”Passion and Continuous Learning Drive True Success”

Addressing thousands of young Egyptians at the "Start 2026" Summit organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, Hesham Mahran, CEO and Managing Director of Orange Egypt, delivered a powerful message on leadership, emphasizing that true success is not defined by corporate titles, but by passion, a relentless desire to learn, and the drive to create real impact.

Mahran's remarks came during a dynamic panel discussion titled "From the Classroom to the Boardroom," held at the Grand Egyptian Museum. Moderated by renowned TV presenter Ramy Radwan, the session featured prominent industry leaders including Ahmed Hammouda (Founder and CEO of Thndr), Dr. Sherine Helmy (CEO of Pharco Pharmaceuticals), and Amy Mowafi (Founder and CEO of MO4 Network).

Sharing his personal career journey, Mahran proudly recounted his roots in Upper Egypt before moving to Cairo to start his professional life in entry-level roles. Over the years, he steadily navigated the telecom sector until reaching the helm of one of Egypt’s largest telecommunications companies.

"My ambition was never tied to the CEO title. My constant goal was to excel and deliver genuine value in every position I held," Mahran stated. "I never imagined 30 years ago that I would lead Orange Egypt, but I always strived to be different and to add real value at every step."

The Start 2026 summit witnessed the massive participation of approximately 30,000 university students and over 300 major private sector companies, serving as a premier national platform for employment, networking, and career guidance to prepare a future-ready generation.
