In line with its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Canal Bank participated in the “Iftar Sa’im at Al-Bayt Tekeya” campaign, in collaboration with the Masajid Development Foundation. The campaign aimed to prepare and distribute daily Iftar meals to worshippers at major mosques across Cairo during the holy month of Ramadan.
The bank contributed approximately 11,765 meals to worshippers at Al-Bayt mosques, including Sayeda Nafisa Mosque, Sayeda Zeinab Mosque, Sayeda Fatima Al-Nabawiya Mosque, Sayeda Sakina Mosque, and Imam Hussein Mosque. The campaign targeted the distribution of around 100,000 meals throughout Ramadan, with the foundation overseeing preparation and distribution to ensure organized and dignified delivery to beneficiaries.
To foster community engagement and volunteerism among staff, the bank organized a volunteer day for employees to distribute Iftar meals at Imam Hussein Mosque.
