Arab Security Conference Announces 9th Edition to Kick Off on September 7 in Cairo with Wide International Participation

Dr. Bahaa Mohamed Hassan, Founder and Chairman of the Arab Security Conference and Chairman of iSec, announced today the details of the ninth edition of the Arab Security Conference during a press event held at the Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The two-day event will take place on September 7–8, 2025, under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
Positioned as the region’s largest platform dedicated to cybersecurity, the conference is set to attract high-level participation from ministers, ambassadors, international experts, and representatives of leading global technology and data protection companies.
This year’s edition will be held under the theme:
“The AI Edge in Cyber Defense – ”, highlighting the growing global focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to counter cyber threats and safeguard digital infrastructure.

Looking ahead, the conference will introduce a new Arab Cybersecurity Media Award in 2026 to recognize media outlets that contribute to raising awareness about cybersecurity.
Meanwhile, iSec—celebrating its 10th anniversary this year—announced the launch of a new regulatory framework for accrediting and classifying cybersecurity companies in Egypt, with four firms already registered.

Dr. Riham Bahaa, official spokesperson for the Arab Security Conference, highlighted that this year’s edition will host the finals of the Arab Security Cyber Wargames Championship 2025, featuring 10 teams selected from 426 teams across 25 countries, with Egypt securing four spots in the top 10.
In addition, the Arab Cyber Security Awards 2025 will honor outstanding Arab professionals across categories such as Best CISO, Rising Star, Women in Cybersecurity, Best SOC Manager, Governance Leader, Cybersecurity Influencer, and—for the first time—a special award for cybersecurity service providers.
