Gold prices in Qatar remained broadly stable on Monday, September 28, 2026, as international gold prices moved around $4,274 per ounce. Market movements continued to be influenced by the US dollar and American bond yields.

According to the latest available prices, 24-karat gold stood at approximately 516.50 Qatari riyals per gram, while 22-karat gold reached around 476 riyals.

Meanwhile, 21-karat gold was priced at approximately 451.50 riyals per gram, while 18-karat gold stood at around 390 riyals.

Global gold prices remain sensitive to developments in US monetary policy, particularly interest-rate decisions by the Federal Reserve and movements in US Treasury yields. Changes in these factors can influence the attractiveness of gold compared with interest-bearing assets.

Markets are also monitoring oil prices and geopolitical developments in the Middle East, as these factors can affect inflation, energy costs and currency movements.

From a technical perspective, gold is trading near $4,274 per ounce, with the $4,200 level representing a key support area and $4,300 serving as a nearby resistance level.
