H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, chaired a council meeting that marked the inaugural use of a dedicated "AI Meeting Assistant" platform. The AI-supported session facilitated data-driven decision-making and resulted in the approval and expansion of major strategic programs spanning community livability, early childhood development, advanced reproductive health, and educational modernization.

Pioneering AI in Executive Governance

The Abu Dhabi Executive Council utilized an AI platform designed to streamline high-level government operations across three phases:

Pre-Meeting: Analyzes proposals and documents to generate comprehensive executive summaries for all agenda items.

In-Session: Provides real-time summaries, fact-checking capabilities, and prompts to support discussions and formulate recommendations based on hard data.

Post-Meeting: Automates the generation of detailed analytics, meeting minutes, and actionable recommendations, explicitly linking directives back to original source documents to accelerate implementation and agency tracking.

Strategic Program Expansions and Approvals

During the session, Sheikh Khaled directed the expansion of several critical government frameworks:

1. The Livability Strategy

Phase 1 Performance: Successfully executed over 60 projects valued at more than AED 12 billion (out of the AED 42 billion allocated budget). The community completion and integration index rose from 67% to 84% within two years.

Phase 2 Launch: A five-year phase shifting the focus from initial infrastructure delivery to enhancing operational efficiency and service quality. It emphasizes data-driven future planning and leveraging private-sector partnerships to turn community needs into investment opportunities.

2. 'Nurseries of the Future' Scale-Up

Currently serving 3,253 children across 10 nurseries in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain (80% of whom are children of working mothers), the project focuses on Arabic language acquisition and early childhood developmental support.

Expansion Target: Approved plans to increase capacity to 12,000 seats by 2029 across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra, a move projected to create over 1,000 new jobs for female UAE nationals in the early childhood sector.

3. Abu Dhabi Future of Reproductive Health Program

Overseen by the Department of Health (DoH) – Abu Dhabi, this comprehensive ecosystem covers preventive care, pre-pregnancy health, genetic testing, and assisted reproductive technologies.

Strategic Goal: Aims to raise the success rate of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures to 80% by 2030 by integrating precision medicine, advanced genomics, and AI for highly personalized treatment protocols.

4. AI Integration in Private Education

Reviewed the ongoing integration of Artificial Intelligence across all private school curricula from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

The initiative notably emphasizes interactive, screen-free educational activities in early stages and includes comprehensive readiness programs to train educators in collaboration with specialized academic institutions.
