Nasser Social Bank Net Profit Surges 38.7% to Reach EGP 5 Billion in FY 2025-2026
Nasser Social Bank (NSB) has reported significant financial growth for the fiscal year 2025-2026, achieving a net profit of EGP 5 billion. This marks a 38.7% increase compared to the previous fiscal year, reflecting the bank's successful expansion in its financial and social operations.
The results were reviewed during a board meeting chaired by Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity and Chairman of the Board of Directors. The meeting focused on the bank's annual performance indicators and its pivotal role as a national entity dedicated to supporting vulnerable groups and enhancing financial inclusion in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030.

During the meeting, Dr. Morsy emphasized that the bank's development plan is designed to maximize its socio-economic impact by modernizing its financial services and expanding microfinance programs.

Precision Targeting: Compiling accurate electronic databases for the most vulnerable groups, including beneficiaries of the "Takaful and Karama" conditional cash transfer program.
Microfinance Expansion: Utilizing micro-loans as a launchpad for economic empowerment, helping families transition from reliance on aid to financial independence.
Zakat Automation: Updating the regulations for social loans and Zakat, alongside automating the operations of Zakat committees to ensure strict oversight and seamless fund distribution.
