National Bank of Egypt Launches Summer 2026 Campaign with Cash Prizes Up to EGP 600,000

The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has officially launched its Summer 2026 promotional campaign, targeting both credit and debit cardholders. Running from July through the end of August 2026, the initiative offers customers the opportunity to win substantial cash prizes totaling up to EGP 600,000. This move underscores the bank's commitment to encouraging the widespread use of bank cards and enhancing the digital payment experience.
Strategic Push for Digital Payments
Karim Sous, Retail Banking Executive at NBE, stated that this campaign aligns perfectly with the bank's broader strategic vision to promote the use of electronic cards in daily transactions.
"By incentivizing card usage for both domestic and international purchases, we are actively fostering a culture of electronic payments, supporting national digital transformation and financial inclusion efforts, and providing our customers with a seamless, highly secure banking experience," Sous explained.
He added that the bank is dedicated to continuously offering innovative promotional campaigns that deliver real value to customers and meet their evolving financial expectations.
Campaign Mechanics and Prize Distribution
Hala Helmy, Head of Products and Financial Inclusion at NBE, elaborated on the campaign's structure. She clarified that the promotion is entirely inclusive, targeting all credit and debit cardholders—whether they are current or new customers, holding primary or supplementary cards.
Customers who actively use their cards for purchases during the campaign window will automatically be entered into monthly draws for valuable cash prizes.
Prize Draw Details:
Total Winners: 60 winners across the two-month period.
Monthly Breakdown: 30 winners selected each month (July and August).
Card Type Allocation: 15 winners will be credit cardholders, and 15 will be debit cardholders each month.
Supervision: The random draws will be conducted under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, ensuring strict adherence to the campaign's governing terms and conditions.
