The US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound maintained a stable position during Saturday's trading session, July 4, 2026, across automated teller machines (ATMs) representing major public and private banking institutions.
According to the latest official update disclosed by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the greenback traded at EGP 49.05 for buying and EGP 49.19 for selling. Meanwhile, the exchange rate at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) locked in at EGP 49.08 for buying and EGP 49.18 for selling, a benchmark matched exactly by Banque Misr.
In the private commercial banking sector, the Commercial International Bank (CIB) recorded EGP 49.00 for buying and EGP 49.10 for selling. Similarly, Bank of Alexandria mirrored these figures, holding steady at EGP 49.00 for buying and EGP 49.10 for selling
