AFS Appoints Abdelrahman Mostafa as Compliance Manager in Egypt
Arab Financial Services (AFS), a regional leader in digital payments and financial services solutions, has appointed Abdelrahman Mostafa as Compliance Manager in Egypt, in a strategic move aimed at strengthening the company’s compliance framework and corporate governance, in line with regulatory requirements and international best practices in the financial services sector.
The appointment reflects AFS’s commitment to fostering a strong culture of compliance and transparency, while supporting a robust operating environment aligned with regulatory frameworks—particularly amid the rapid evolution of the digital payments and financial services industry.
Abdelrahman Mostafa brings extensive professional experience in compliance, anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF), regulatory engagement, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures. He has also played a key role in preparing licensing requirements for payment service providers, gaining in-depth practical expertise in regulatory and legislative aspects of the sector.
Prior to joining AFS, Mostafa held compliance roles at both Basata and Fawry, where he contributed to enhancing regulatory compliance levels, strengthening internal control systems, and improving institutional readiness to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
