US Dollar Sees Moderate Rise Against Egyptian Pound in Tuesday Morning Trading
The US dollar experienced a limited increase against the Egyptian pound during Tuesday morning trading, reaching EGP 47.37 as the highest selling rate in the banking sector, with gradual upward movements recorded in several banks, while other banks remained relatively stable.
The lowest rates were observed at Emirates NBD Egypt, where the US dollar traded at EGP 46.92 for buying and EGP 47.02 for selling, maintaining the bank’s position at the bottom of the market range. Crédit Agricole Egypt and First Abu Dhabi Bank offered the currency at EGP 46.98 for buying and EGP 47.08 for selling, amid limited pressure on the dollar in these banks.
At the EGP 47 level, the currency was quoted at EGP 47.00 for buying and EGP 47.10 for selling at Arab International Bank, Commercial International Bank (CIB), and Arab Banking Corporation International, marking a slight decline compared to Monday’s session.
