Misr University for Informatics Students Excel at Egyptian Universities Olympiad 2025/2026

Misr University for Informatics (MUI) participated in several events of the Egyptian Universities Olympiad for the 2025/2026 academic year, with its students achieving outstanding results across a wide range of activities, including arts, sports, and design competitions.

Professor Ahmed Hamad, Acting President of Misr University for Informatics, praised the achievements of students from the Faculty of Digital Arts and Design, highlighting the performance of first-year student Mohamed Saber Eid Suleiman, along with Shahd Tamer Ali Mohamed and Tala Medhat Mohamed Abdel Meguid. Mohamed Saber won the silver medal and second place in the competition titled “Developing the Visual Identity of Egyptian University Sports.”

He received a certificate of appreciation from Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Meanwhile, students Shahd Tamer and Tala Medhat qualified for the final rounds of the Fine Arts – Photography competition as part of the 14th edition of the Ibdaa Festival for University Youth in literary, scientific, and artistic fields.

Professor Hamad emphasized MUI’s continued commitment to supporting student participation in scientific and creative forums, in line with the university’s vision to prepare a creative generation capable of competing at both local and international levels. This vision is built upon an integrated educational system that combines artistic creativity with advanced digital technologies, keeping pace with global trends in digital arts and design.
