Snap Inc. announced the successful completion of the fourth edition of its Ramadan Augmented Reality Mall on Snapchat, reaffirming its commitment to continued investment in AR technologies to deliver innovative virtual shopping experiences that reflect the spirit of the holy month and its deep cultural significance for audiences and brands worldwide.

The Snap Ramadan AR Mall 2025 recreated the atmosphere of traditional Gulf heritage cities in the form of a captivating digital village, featuring streets lined with virtual storefronts that allowed users to explore and browse just as they do in real life during Ramadan. Designed to boost engagement and social interaction, the experience enabled brands to connect with audiences in a natural and creative way aligned with the essence of the holy month.

The 2025 edition featured a diverse range of interactive AR-enabled stores from leading global brands across beauty, fashion, electronics, food, and e-commerce. Participating brands included Givenchy, Nice One, Al Majed Oud, Faces, Max Fashion, Tecno, Advaz, Almarai Alyoum, and Keeta, offering Snapchat users new ways to discover products and collections throughout Ramadan.

During the season, the AR Mall attracted more than 16.8 million Snapchat users across the Middle East and North Africa, generating nearly 250 million impressions. Engagement metrics included over 195.1 thousand swipes, more than 265.1 thousand shares, and over 265.1 thousand reshares, while the average AR interaction time increased by 30.25% compared to 2024.

Users spent an average of more than 26 seconds exploring virtual brand stores, with the sharing feature recording the highest level of engagement, reinforcing Snapchat’s interactive and discovery-driven experience.
