Anghami and Huawei Mark Five Years of Partnership Driving a Connected Entertainment Ecosystem Across MENA

Anghami, the leading music and entertainment platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Huawei, the global technology leader, are celebrating five years of strategic collaboration that has transformed how audiences across the region experience music and entertainment.

Since the start of their partnership, Anghami has been seamlessly integrated across Huawei’s ecosystem of smart devices — from smartphones and wearables to connected vehicles — delivering music experiences that accompany users wherever they are. The collaboration began with Anghami’s onboarding on Huawei’s AppGallery, later expanding into a fully connected, cross-device ecosystem.

Building on this momentum, Anghami launched its first HarmonyOS smartwatch app in 2021, allowing users to control music playback and discover new tracks directly from their wrists. This marked one of the earliest integrations between a regional music streaming platform and a smartwatch in the MENA market.

Earlier this year, Anghami and Huawei took another leap forward by embedding the Anghami app into Huawei’s HMS for Car platform, giving drivers direct access to their playlists and recommendations through in-car dashboards. The partnership also saw the release of an enhanced Anghami app for the HUAWEI WATCH 5, powered by HarmonyOS 5, expanding the user experience even further.

Together, these advancements underscore both brands’ commitment to building a connected entertainment ecosystem, where users can enjoy Arabic and international music seamlessly across devices — at home, on the move, and on the road.
