BYD is expanding its presence in Egypt’s new energy vehicle market with the opening of a new BYD Technology Center at Citystars Mall in Nasr City.

The center was launched by Al Nile Projects, the authorized distributor of ManDream, BYD’s official agent in Egypt. The opening brought together representatives from the companies, Citystars Mall management, media outlets and content creators.

Located inside the shopping mall, the new facility introduces a different format for showcasing BYD vehicles and technologies. It gives visitors the opportunity to view the brand’s electric and hybrid models while receiving information and assistance from a specialized team.

The center also combines automotive discovery with the mall’s wider retail and entertainment environment, making it the first automotive showroom located inside Citystars Mall.

Prior to the official inauguration, the facility had already welcomed visitors. This provided the team with an opportunity to better understand customer interests and address common questions related to electric vehicles and emerging mobility technologies.

According to Al Nile Projects, the new center forms part of its expansion plans and reflects the growing interest in electric and new energy vehicles in the Egyptian market.

The company’s latest move follows the opening of its previous BYD location at Mall of Arabia and builds on its cooperation with ManDream and Mansour Automotive Group to expand BYD’s customer touchpoints across Egypt.

The Citystars location is intended to bring BYD closer to customers in a high-traffic destination while offering an alternative to conventional automotive showrooms.

The BYD Technology Center is located at Gate 5 of Citystars Mall, with customers able to reach the company through hotline 17701.
