In a move aimed at enhancing digital safety for youth, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has launched interactive field awareness campaigns to highlight the "Otmen" and "Otmen A'la El Aker" services. These services were previously introduced as part of the "Kids SIM" packages to ensure a risk-free browsing environment.

Advanced Protection Levels Tailored for Families

The new services provide parents with tools to control the content exposed to their children. "Otmen" offers a secure environment for searching while blocking malicious software and cyber viruses, whereas "Otmen A'la El Aker" goes a step further by restricting access to all social media platforms and applications.

Direct Engagement and Instant Activation

Awareness teams kicked off their tours in shopping malls and public libraries due to their high family turnout. The teams focus on direct communication with parents, answering their technical inquiries, and guiding them step-by-step to activate the service through mobile operators' smart apps.

Toward a Safe and Responsible Digital Environment

This field initiative falls under a comprehensive vision adopted by the NTRA to raise community awareness about the importance of safe technology use and to equip parents with the necessary technical tools to protect future generations from cyber threats.
