Gold Prices Decline in Egypt as 21-Karat Gold Reaches EGP 6,330
Gold prices in Egypt declined during trading on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, with the price of 21-karat gold falling by EGP 20 compared with previous levels.
The price of 24-karat gold reached approximately EGP 7,234 per gram, while 21-karat gold stood at around EGP 6,330 per gram.
Meanwhile, 18-karat gold was priced at approximately EGP 5,425 per gram, while the price of an 8-gram gold pound reached about EGP 50,640.
Globally, the price of a gold ounce stood at around $4,342 during Tuesday's trading session.
The listed local gold prices do not include workmanship and stamp fees, which vary depending on the retailer and location.
