Talabat, the everyday deliveries platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has announced the appointment of Selin Sozer as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Sozer joins Talabat from Delivery Hero Group, where she served as CMO for foodpanda, foodora, and Yemeksepeti.

With nearly two decades of marketing experience across diverse roles and markets—including Turkey, the United States, Europe, and Asia—Sozer brings a broad international perspective and a proven track record in brand building and team leadership across multiple markets and cultures.

In her new role, Sozer will lead Talabat's marketing ecosystem and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing and brand agenda, at a time when Talabat continues to evolve and strengthen its presence in the markets it serves.

Throughout her international marketing career spanning nearly 20 years, Sozer has worked in various markets and marketing disciplines across Turkey, the US, Europe, and Asia, holding leadership roles in multiple regions. Most recently, she served as CMO for Yemeksepeti, foodpanda, and foodora within the Delivery Hero Group.

Sozer resides in Dubai and has a passion for travel, discovering new places, continuous learning, and good food. She describes curiosity and continuous learning as fundamental pillars of both her personal and professional approach.
