Egypt Showcases Energy Sector Potential at Abu Dhabi’s ADIPEC 2026
Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Dr. Hussein Eissa took part in the opening ceremony of ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi, as the international energy exhibition and conference began its 42nd edition under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The event was officially opened by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, at ADNEC Abu Dhabi. The four-day gathering, running from 2 to 5 November, brings together government representatives and leading figures from the global energy, technology, finance and industrial sectors.
Egyptian Participation Focuses on Investment and Cooperation
During remarks delivered alongside the opening, Eissa pointed to the longstanding ties between Egypt and the UAE and the shared commitment to advancing their strategic partnership.
He said the conference offers an international setting for decision-makers, investors and industry executives to exchange expertise and discuss developments shaping the sector.
According to Eissa, Egypt's presence at the event is an opportunity to present the country's energy-sector capabilities and highlight investment opportunities. He also outlined the government's priorities of ensuring domestic energy supplies, improving investment conditions, upgrading infrastructure and making greater use of modern technologies.
These priorities, he noted, are linked to Egypt's ambition to strengthen its role as a regional energy hub while advancing sustainable development.
