The US dollar recorded mixed movements against the Egyptian pound at the start of trading on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. The dollar declined at four banks by between one and seven piasters, while it rose at two banks and remained unchanged at four others compared with the end of Tuesday’s trading session.

The following are the US dollar exchange rates at 10 Egyptian banks at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading:

- National Bank of Egypt (NBE): EGP 52.01 for buying and EGP 52.11 for selling.

- Banque Misr: EGP 52.01 for buying and EGP 52.11 for selling, down by 6 piasters for both buying and selling.

- Banque du Caire: EGP 52.01 for buying and EGP 52.11 for selling.

- Commercial International Bank (CIB): EGP 52.01 for buying and EGP 52.11 for selling, up by 6 piasters for both buying and selling.

- AlexBank: EGP 52.01 for buying and EGP 52.11 for selling, down by 1 piaster for both buying and selling.

- Suez Canal Bank: EGP 52.03 for buying and EGP 52.13 for selling, up by 2 piasters for both buying and selling.

- Al Baraka Bank Egypt: EGP 51.95 for buying and EGP 52.05 for selling, down by 5 piasters for both buying and selling.

- Credit Agricole Egypt: EGP 51.97 for buying and EGP 52.07 for selling.

- QNB Egypt: EGP 52.00 for buying and EGP 52.10 for selling.

- Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB): EGP 52.03 for buying and EGP 52.13 for selling, down by 7 piasters for both buying and selling.
