Systems Limited Targets Egypt Expansion, Plans to Create 380 Jobs and Boost Digital Exports

Pakistan-based technology services provider Systems Limited is preparing a major expansion of its operations in Egypt, with plans to grow its delivery center, create more than 380 new jobs, and strengthen the country's role as a regional hub for digital services exports.

The expansion plans were discussed during a meeting between Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Raafat Hindi, and Asif Peer, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Systems Limited, alongside senior officials from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the company.

The talks focused on scaling the company's recently inaugurated delivery center in Cairo's Smart Village, which currently employs around 250 software engineers and IT specialists serving clients across the Middle East and international markets.

During the meeting, Minister Hindi said Egypt continues to strengthen its position as a global destination for IT outsourcing and digital services by investing in advanced digital skills and expanding its talent pool.

He noted that multinational companies are increasingly choosing Egypt not only for its skilled workforce but also for its ability to deliver high-value services in software engineering, artificial intelligence and data analytics, helping drive the country's growing digital exports.

Systems Limited provides software engineering, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data analytics, systems integration and business process outsourcing services to customers operating in industries including banking, telecommunications and financial technology.

Asif Peer said Egypt has become an increasingly attractive location for global delivery operations, citing the country's competitive talent base and strategic position as key factors behind the company's expansion strategy.

He revealed that Systems Limited intends to develop its Egyptian operation into the company's second-largest global delivery center, after its headquarters in Pakistan, as part of its long-term international growth plans.

Peer added that approximately 85% of the company's business is export-oriented, reflecting Systems Limited's global delivery model and its focus on providing technology services to international clients.

The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration with ITIDA, particularly through the agency's Training to Hire initiative, which prepares young Egyptians with the technical and language skills required by global technology companies.

The program is expected to support Systems Limited's recruitment plans while helping strengthen Egypt's pipeline of qualified technology professionals as demand for outsourcing and digital services continues to grow.

Headquartered in Lahore, Systems Limited operates in more than 15 countries and employs over 10,000 professionals, delivering digital transformation, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics and business process outsourcing services to organizations worldwide.
