 The Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), chaired by Dr. Islam Azzam, has issued an official decree extending the deadline for the submission of periodic financial statements for companies operating in the insurance sector and insurance pools.

According to the new directive, entities now have until June 30, 2026, to submit their financial statements for the period ending on March 31, 2026.

Scope of the Extension: The extended deadline applies comprehensively to all required financial documentation, including:

Periodic financial statements.

Attached financial disclosures.

The official auditor's report regarding the aforementioned documents.

Facilitating Market Compliance: This strategic decision reflects the FRA's commitment to easing the operational burden on insurance companies. By granting this extension, the Authority aims to provide institutions with adequate time and flexibility to prepare their financial reports accurately and in full compliance with the newly enacted Unified Insurance Law No. 155 of 2024 and its accompanying regulatory decrees.
