 The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), under the leadership of Dr. Islam Azzam, has officially granted approval for the establishment and licensing of "Al Ahly Tamkeen for Consumer Finance."

This approval comes as a notable development, as the company successfully submitted its incorporation and licensing requests prior to the issuance of FRA Decree No. 43 of 2026 last February. The aforementioned decree temporarily suspended the acceptance of new establishment requests and preliminary approvals for companies seeking to operate within the consumer finance sector.

By securing this approval, "Al Ahly Tamkeen" is set to enter the Egyptian consumer finance market, adhering to the stringent regulatory frameworks set forth by the Authority. This move aligns with the FRA's overarching mandate to supervise and regulate non-banking financial markets, ensuring that new entrants meet all necessary legal and operational criteria before launching their services to the public.
