Telecom Egypt (WE) and Times Developments Partner to Deploy Smart City Solutions Across Real Estate Projects
Telecom Egypt (WE), the country’s first integrated telecom operator, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Times Developments to provide comprehensive telecommunications and smart city solutions for its real estate projects. This strategic partnership aims to deploy cutting-edge Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology, providing high-speed internet and advanced voice services to residential, administrative, and commercial units, aligning with Egypt's broader national vision for digital transformation.
The agreement was signed by Adham Qorein, Head of Gated Communities Sales at Telecom Egypt, and Ahmed Farid El Sergany, CEO of Times Developments. Under this protocol, WE will execute the entire technological infrastructure and fiber optic networks for Times Developments' projects. Qorein emphasized that this cooperation underscores the trust real estate developers place in WE’s robust infrastructure and technical expertise, while El Sergany noted that the move is a commitment to delivering a modern, efficient, and globally standardized living experience for their clients.
